You retype the same details over and over
Name, email, phone, career history, degrees. The same form, again. By the tenth application of the week, attention drops and mistakes creep in.
Capture the posting you are reading, get a resume and cover letter tailored to it, and fill in the application form without retyping a thing. All without leaving the tab.
The market does not reward those who apply the most, but those who apply well. The trouble is that applying well takes time nobody has.
Name, email, phone, career history, degrees. The same form, again. By the tenth application of the week, attention drops and mistakes creep in.
A generic resume gets filtered out and rarely convinces. Tailoring it posting by posting is the right answer — but that is thirty minutes you will not spend.
A posting spotted between two meetings, a tab closed too fast, and it is gone. You no longer know where you applied, or when.
Take one careful application, done by hand, on a typical careers site.
The breakdown is sobering.
The extension opens a side panel next to the posting. Everything happens there — no copy-pasting, no switching windows.
One click on the JobTactics icon. The extension reads the page and recognises the job posting on it.
The posting joins your tracker with its title, company and link. You immediately see a match score.
Two buttons. The documents are written from your profile and this specific posting, then exported as PDF.
The extension fills the factual fields and suggests answers to open questions. You review, you approve, you send.
The site does not need to be « supported ». The extension reads the posting on screen, whatever the page — and when nothing is usable, it analyses the text.
From the captured posting and your profile, the extension generates a tailored resume and a cover letter. You follow the progress in the panel, then export as PDF.
The extension spots the form fields and fills those that match your profile. It never touches anything you have already entered.
What you have already typed is never overwritten. Hidden or read-only fields are ignored.
Name, email, phone, address, city, postcode, country, LinkedIn, website: eleven details recognised, whatever the language of the form.
« Why this company? » does not answer itself. A small JobTactics icon appears on the field; click it and you get two suggested answers, to insert or regenerate. The decision stays yours.
Values are entered as if you typed them, so recruitment portals register them properly.
Once filling is done, a panel reports how many fields were filled, how many open questions were detected, and how many fields were left untouched.
Two distinct uses, with the same rule: nothing is changed on LinkedIn, and nothing is written to your JobTactics profile without your approval.
Your career history is retrieved and shown on a review screen: twelve sections, each to merge, replace or keep. You see what will be added and what will be removed before approving. Only your own profile can be imported.
A free diagnosis points out what is holding your profile back. The optimisation then proposes seven rewritten sections, side by side with your current text, with a character counter for each LinkedIn limit. You copy what you keep.
The extension never writes to LinkedIn: you are the one who copies the text you decide to keep.
Plenty of tools promise to apply on your behalf. Ours is built on the opposite principle: speed up your work without ever deciding for you.
An extension you install then uninstall was no use at all. This one is built to stay open throughout your search.
Email and password, Google or LinkedIn, with two-factor authentication if your account uses it.
When new postings match an alert, a notification tells you and the icon shows the count.
Type « jt » then your query in the address bar to launch a job search.
Your balance is always on screen and updates after every operation, with top-up a click away.
A career change, two target roles: switch active profile without leaving the panel.
The interface comes in French, English, Spanish, Italian, German and Portuguese, in light or dark theme.
Nothing to configure: sign in, and the panel is waiting on the next posting.
From the Chrome Web Store or the Edge Add-ons catalogue.
So it is always at hand in your browser toolbar.
One click on the icon opens the side panel. That is all.
Works with Chrome and Edge (Chrome 114 or newer).
Installing and using the extension is free, and saving a posting is free at launch too. Only operations that produce a document — generating a resume, a cover letter, a LinkedIn optimisation — use credits from your account. The cost is shown on the button before you start the operation, never after.
It only reads a page when you click its icon, and only the page you have open. There is no background reading of your tabs, no history collected, and your data is neither sold nor passed to third parties.
Filling works on standard web forms, including those of the major recruitment portals. Fields are identified from their labels, not from a preset list of sites. On an unusual form, unrecognised fields are simply left empty — and the summary tells you so.
Not yet. The extension is currently available for Chrome and Edge only. We would rather say so plainly than let you install it for nothing.
Yes. The extension works from your profile — career history, skills, experience — to produce documents that sound like you. Creating an account is free.
Right-click its icon, then « Remove from Chrome ». Your documents and applications stay in your account: uninstalling the extension deletes nothing.
The interface is available in French, English, Spanish, Italian, German and Portuguese. Form filling recognises field labels in those six languages.
Your session is handled with short-lived access tokens, renewed automatically, and two-factor authentication is supported if your account uses it. Your credentials never pass through the pages you visit.
You can deal with it in one hour and ten minutes, or in a few. The difference comes down to one installation.
