Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JobTactics, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
JobTactics is an AI-powered career tools platform that helps job seekers create optimized resumes, cover letters, and other professional documents. Our services include AI-driven resume building, ATS optimization, keyword analysis, job tracking, and related career tools. The platform operates on a credit-based model.
3. Account Registration
To use JobTactics, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age. The platform is exclusively intended for adults; it is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data.
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintain only one account per person.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Credits and Payments
JobTactics operates on a credit-based model. Credits are used to access AI-powered features and tools.
- Credits are purchased in advance through our platform.
- There are no recurring subscriptions — you buy credits as needed.
- Credits never expire and remain available in your account until used.
- Credits are non-refundable, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws.
- Credit prices and operation costs are subject to change. Any changes will apply to future purchases only.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated access methods to interact with the service.
- Upload or generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
- Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access.
- Use the service to generate misleading or fraudulent professional documents.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
Any abusive, fraudulent, automated, or non-compliant use, as well as any attempt to circumvent the service's limits, may result, at our sole discretion and without prior notice in cases of serious abuse, in a warning, restriction, temporary suspension, blocking, or permanent ban of the account concerned. This applies in particular, but not limited to, lifetime-access ("Lifetime") accounts: manifestly unfair or abusive use (account sharing, large-scale automated exploitation, unauthorized resale of access, or circumvention of protections) may result in revocation of lifetime access without refund, lifetime access being granted for personal, reasonable, good-faith use by a single user.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content — you retain full ownership of any content you provide, including personal information, professional details, and uploaded documents. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the requested services.
Platform — the JobTactics platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is our intellectual property and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
AI-Generated Content — resumes, cover letters, and other documents generated by our AI tools are licensed to you for personal and professional use. You may use, modify, and distribute these documents freely.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobTactics and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will produce specific outcomes, such as job interviews or employment offers.
8. Termination
By You — you may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion.
By Us — we may suspend, block, or permanently terminate and ban your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform, including abusive use of lifetime ("Lifetime") access as described in the "Acceptable Use" section. In the event of proven abuse, no amount paid is refunded and any remaining credits are forfeited. We will provide notice when reasonably possible, except in cases of severe violations or where prohibited by law.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware (United States), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the use of the platform shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, with the seat of arbitration located in Delaware and the proceedings conducted in English. You and we waive any class action and any jury trial. This clause does not prevent either party from bringing a claim in a competent small-claims court. Nothing in this clause deprives consumers in the European Union or other jurisdictions of the mandatory rights guaranteed by the law of their country of residence, including the right to bring proceedings before their local courts and to benefit from their consumer-protection and data-protection law.

Eligibility — 18 years and older only
JobTactics is a service exclusively intended for adults. This statement sets out the age requirements to create an account and use the platform.
1. Minimum age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use JobTactics. The platform is not intended for minors and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to anyone under 18.
2. Age verification
At sign-up, your date of birth is requested and verified. Any registration indicating an age below 18 is refused. Providing false or misleading age information is a violation of our Terms of Service.
3. Business and educational accounts
When JobTactics is provided through a partner organization (agency or higher-education institution), that organization contractually undertakes to grant access only to adult end users (18 or older). The service is not aimed at primary or secondary education.
4. Removal of non-compliant accounts
If we discover that an account was created by someone under 18, or in breach of these eligibility conditions, we reserve the right to suspend or delete that account and the associated data, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Contact
For any question about eligibility, or to report an account created by a minor, contact us at:
Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy sets out the conditions under which a refund or cancellation may be requested for purchases made on JobTactics.
1. Prepaid credits
JobTactics operates on a prepaid credit model, with no recurring subscription. The following principles apply:
- Credits are purchased in advance and never expire; they remain available in your account until used.
- Credits already consumed (document generation, audits, analyses, etc.) are non-refundable, as the service has been fully performed.
- Unused credits may be refunded under the conditions set out below and by applicable consumer law.
2. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you generally have a 14-day withdrawal period. However, for digital content and services performed immediately, you expressly acknowledge and agree, at the time of purchase, that performance begins immediately and that you waive your right of withdrawal for the part of the service already performed (consumed credits). Unused credits remain refundable during this 14-day period.
3. Refund of unused credits
A request to refund unused credits may be submitted within 14 days of purchase. The refund is calculated pro rata to the unused credits, based on the price actually paid. Bonuses, complimentary credits and referral credits are non-refundable as they are non-monetary.
4. Technical failures
If a paid operation fails for a technical reason attributable to us (for example an interruption of the AI service), the corresponding credits are automatically credited back to your account. No action is required from you in this case.
5. Business licenses (agencies and institutions)
B2B licenses (organizations of the agency or educational-institution type) are governed by the specific contractual terms signed with the organization, including where applicable a commitment period. License fees and credits purchased at partner rates are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the contract or required by applicable law.
6. Requesting a refund
For any refund request, contact our support team, stating your account email address and the relevant transaction:
Acceptable AI Use Policy
JobTactics provides artificial intelligence features (resume and cover-letter generation, audits, analyses, mock interviews, API). This policy governs their acceptable use. It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Purpose of the service
The AI features are provided to assist with job searching and career development. They produce automatically generated suggestions, which must be reviewed, verified and validated by the user before any use. They do not constitute legal, financial or professional advice.
2. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the AI features, or the API, to:
- Generate deliberately false, fraudulent or misleading information (for example a resume stating false qualifications or experience).
- Produce illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing content or content infringing the rights of third parties.
- Attempt to extract, replicate or retrain a model, or to bypass safety filters (prompt injection, jailbreak).
- Automate abusive volumes of calls, scrape the service or circumvent rate limits.
- Process third-party personal data without a legal basis, or sensitive data categories in breach of applicable law.
- Use the service to make fully automated decisions producing legal effects on individuals without human intervention.
3. Accuracy and responsibility
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or wording unsuited to your situation. You remain solely responsible for the content you submit and for how you use the generated content, including its accuracy when shared with third parties (employers, recruitment platforms).
4. Data and model providers
AI processing may require transmitting content to third-party model providers, under appropriate contractual safeguards. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy and our GDPR notice. Use of your data to improve models is subject to your consent, revocable at any time in your settings.
5. Sanctions for violations
Any abusive use or use contrary to this policy may result, at our sole discretion, in a warning, restriction, suspension, blocking or ban of the account, as well as revocation of API keys, with no refund in case of proven abuse, in accordance with the "Acceptable Use" section of our Terms of Service.

API & Developer Terms
These terms govern access to and use of the JobTactics public API and associated integrations (including via third-party marketplaces). They supplement our Terms of Service and our Acceptable AI Use Policy. By generating or using an API key, you accept these terms.
1. Access and API keys
API access requires a personal secret key. This key identifies you and binds you: you are responsible for its confidentiality and for any activity carried out with it. You undertake to store it securely, never to disclose it publicly (code repositories, web clients, etc.), and to notify us immediately of any compromise via the contact details. We may rotate or revoke a compromised key without prior notice.
2. Consumption model
Use of the API consumes credits according to the applicable pricing. The following principles apply:
- Each billable call debits the credit balance of the account that owns the key.
- Credits are prepaid and subject to our Refund Policy.
- A call that fails for a technical reason attributable to us is automatically credited back.
- Per-operation costs may change; any change applies only to future calls.
3. Rate limiting
The API applies rate limits intended to ensure the stability and fairness of the service for all users. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary rejection of requests, and manifestly abusive use may lead to the additional measures described below. The limits applicable to your account are communicated in the documentation or your contract.
4. Prohibited uses
In addition to the prohibitions set out in our Terms of Service and our Acceptable AI Use Policy, you undertake not to:
- Circumvent, disable or attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas or authentication mechanisms.
- Share, resell or sublicense API access without prior written authorization.
- Use the API to mass-extract data, train competing models or replicate the service.
- Overload the infrastructure, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization or disrupt the service.
- Process third-party personal data without a legal basis or appropriate information to the data subjects.
5. Ownership of generated outputs
Subject to payment of the applicable credits and compliance with these terms, you retain the rights to the content you provide as input and to the outputs generated via the API for your own use or that of your end users. You remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and compliance of those outputs before any distribution. The rights to the API, its documentation, trademarks and underlying technology remain our exclusive property. Details are set out in our Terms of Service.
6. Third-party integrations and marketplaces
When you use the API via a connector published on a third-party marketplace or an automation tool, you remain responsible for the configuration, the data transmitted and the compliance of your workflow. We are not responsible for third-party platforms or their own terms, and we assume no liability for processing carried out outside our service.
7. Availability and changes
The API is provided "as is" and "as available". We may evolve, deprecate or remove endpoints, endeavoring to reasonably communicate significant changes. Except where a specific contractual commitment applies (for example a business SLA), no availability or performance guarantee is given.
8. Suspension and revocation
In the event of a breach of these terms, abusive, fraudulent or automated use contrary to the rules, or a risk to the security or stability of the service, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice in cases of serious abuse, restrict, suspend or permanently revoke your access and API keys, with no refund in case of proven abuse, in accordance with the "Acceptable Use" section of our Terms of Service.
