About this template
The Private Bank template is a senior letter built like correspondence from a Geneva private bank: austere Trajan small-caps title, Walbaum body, slate-blue ink, a fine vertical rule between the contact column and the body. Quietly expensive, never ostentatious. Compatible with the ATS systems of Swiss and Liechtenstein private banks (Workday at UBS Wealth, Credit Suisse Private Banking, Pictet, Lombard Odier, LGT Private Banking, VP Bank).
Who is it for?
It suits senior executives applying to Swiss and Liechtenstein private banks, Luxembourg fund administrators, Monaco family offices and discreet wealth-structuring boutiques (Reyl & Cie, Bordier & Cie, Banque Heritage). Senior bankers, fund administrators, fiduciary partners and wealth-structuring advisers. Out of place in retail banking, consumer tech or any broad-clientele sector.
How to use it
The vertical rule separates the contact column (left) from the body (right) — it must stay at 0.3 pt in slate-grey to preserve discretion. The hook avoids any marketing tone and enters the subject: "Following the recommendation of Maître [Untel]". Paragraph 2 cites your expertise by jurisdiction (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Jersey, Guernsey, Singapore) rather than by product. A handwritten signature in slate-blue ink, scanned at 600 dpi, signs discreetly at the bottom — never a stylised paraph.
Frequently asked questions
Should I mention the fiscal jurisdictions I master?
Yes in paragraph 2: "Expertise in Jersey trusts, Luxembourg SCS partnerships and Monaco SCPCs for European UHNW clients". These mentions are direct signals to private-banking recruitment committees — far more meaningful than generic certifications.
Is the letter suitable for a fiduciary mandate?
Yes for Swiss fiduciary mandates (LFid, FINMA federal authority), Jersey and Guernsey trustees (Royal Court), Luxembourg administrators (CSSF). List your STEP registration and the principal jurisdiction's fiduciary licence number in the signature block.
Is it suitable for Monaco or Luxembourg?
Yes for Monaco family offices (Andbank Monaco, Compagnie Monégasque de Banque, Edmond de Rothschild Monaco) and Luxembourg ManCos (UBS Fund Management, FundPartner Solutions, Lemanik). The private-bank register is explicitly aligned with the practices of both centres.
