Is it suitable for non-design applications?
Extreme minimalism is a strong sector signal — it reads as bold in tech, neutral in consulting, and potentially strange in traditional finance or law. Reserve it for sectors where the absence of ornament is culturally valued: design, architecture, certain tech studios, pure research. Switch to Minimal Paper White or Minimal Monochrome for finance and legal applications.
What is the maximum word count for this template?
Aim for 180-220 words of body copy. Beyond that, the breathing room disappears and the minimalism turns into a thinly-populated page. The challenge is to carry a full argument within this constraint — which is precisely what design studios want to evaluate when they ask for a cover letter at all.
Does the PDF render the wide margins correctly?
Yes. The margins are governed by CSS print rules and stay constant on both A4 and US Letter output. The generated PDF preserves the ratios — the airy effect you see on screen is identical on paper.
