About this template
The Minimal Uppercase template is a minimal cover letter where the name and section labels appear in capitals with widened letter-spacing — a single typographic gesture that adds a subtle editorial feel. The body stays in normal case for full readability. Compatible with the ATS systems of fashion and luxury (Workday at LVMH, Kering, Richemont, Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton) and major magazine publishing houses (Workday at Condé Nast, Hearst Magazines, Vogue Group, Hachette Filipacchi).
Who is it for?
It suits candidates in fashion publishing, contemporary art, gallery curation, magazine production, luxury creative direction and brand management of fashion houses. The uppercase signal echoes the way fashion magazines treat their bylines — recognised by anyone trained in editorial design. Out of place in tech, corporate consulting or administration where capitals are read as shouting.
How to use it
Capitals apply exclusively to the name and section labels — extending to the body makes the letter unreadable. Letter-spacing is calibrated at +50 units for capital blocks — resist any tighter setting. The hook may open on an editorial reference ("As a former fashion director of Vogue Paris..."). Paragraph 2 cites your bylined publications by magazine title and year — Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, AnOther Magazine, System Magazine, T Magazine. A handwritten signature in black ink, scanned at 600 dpi, signs at the bottom — no paraph.
