About this template
The ATS Elegant Rules template is a professional CV with an ATS layout in EB Garamond, hairline rules under section titles and a discreet gold accent. The decorative restraint is deliberate — every keyword reads cleanly while the typography speaks of seasoned authority. The format passes the Workday and iCIMS ATS used by private banks (J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Goldman Sachs Private Wealth, Northern Trust, Bessemer Trust, Rockefeller Capital Management), family offices and asset management houses (BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street Global Advisors, PIMCO).
Who is it for?
It suits leadership profiles in private banking (private bankers, family officers, wealth managers), senior asset managers (discretionary portfolio managers, mandate managers), managing partners of family offices and senior legal profiles (private wealth partners, legal directors of holding entities). Also adapted to senior savings and insurance directors at life insurance carriers (MetLife, Prudential, New York Life, Northwestern Mutual).
How to use it
Four blocks structure the document — Roles held (with AUM managed in $bn and number of clients served), Achievements (annual net inflows, mandates won, Citywealth, WealthBriefing or PAM Insight distinctions), Certifications (CFP, CIMA, CPWA, CFA, AICPA Personal Financial Specialist), Education. For each role, indicate AUM in $m or $bn, number of clients served, and the nature of the client base (UHNWI, HNWI, single-family office, institutional). Long-tail: « private banker resume J.P. Morgan », « discretionary portfolio manager CV », « family officer resume template », « wealth manager Northern Trust CV », « life insurance director CV ».
Frequently asked questions
Should I quantify the AUM managed for each role?
Yes — it is the central screening criterion in private banking. Indicate AUM in $m or $bn, number of clients served (respecting aggregated confidentiality) and annual net inflows. For profiles with internal mobility (for instance Senior Banker promoted to Head of Wealth), mention the AUM of the team supervised and the number of bankers reporting to you. All figures are verifiable by recruiters via the bank's public filings.
How should I present a CFP, CIMA or CFA credential?
Indicate the exact status, year of completion and awarding body. For the CFA, mention the level (Level I, Level II, Level III or Charterholder) and the local society (CFA Institute US, CFA Society New York). For the CFP, specify the year of certification with the CFP Board. The typographic discretion of the template means these credentials carry weight: do not bury them at the bottom of the page.
Does the template work for a family office?
Yes, particularly for family officers at single-family offices (SFO) or multi-family offices (MFO) in New York, Greenwich, Palm Beach, Geneva or Zurich. Reinforce the Roles section with the nature of the family served (industrial, financial, heir generation) and the service modules delivered (family governance, strategic asset allocation, philanthropy, generational wealth transfer). The gold-and-Garamond restraint of the template is in direct cohesion with sector codes.
