How to use it
The left column holds civil status (two lines), languages in CEFR, technical skills in tags and cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Engineer). The right column carries experience in reverse chronology, two or three quantified bullets per mission. Why keep civil status in a tech scene?
Many French scale-ups (Doctolib, Qonto, Alan, BlaBlaCar) keep a French HR culture and tolerate — without requiring — civil status. For Mistral AI, Hugging Face and US subsidiaries (Stripe Paris, Datadog), civil status can be omitted and the no-civil-status CV is even the norm. Adapt to the employer.
Suitable for a senior tech role?
Yes for Senior Product Manager, Group Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Head of Data up to about twelve years of experience. For a Director or VP Engineering at a billion-euro scale-up, the template may be too visual — France Compact or Minimal Thin Rule may better signal seniority.
Does the sidebar pass ATS?
Yes for modern ATS (Lever, Greenhouse, Workday recent version) that equip nearly all French scale-ups. For French subsidiaries of traditional groups still using Taleo or older Workday, the parsing disorder risk exists — for these targets, ATS Monochrome remains the safest choice.
